10%!
Yup, that’s the statewide voter turnout in Texas for the election November 6, 2007!
Many of the tax monies that I voted against were voted for by the majority…the majority of 10% of the population of the great State of Texas. I just hope that come time for the presidential primaries people will dust off their voter registration cards and make their voices heard!
Christians are to make a difference and vote in officials that best represent the values that God has revealed to us through His word. Don’t give up on America as a nation built on Biblical principles. We must continue to fight and be a light in our country!

I hope all you eligible citizens are registered and have or plan to vote today!
I just came from voting for the first time! Not to many exciting issues on the ballot, but I felt very privilege to vote!
On the ballot, there were some issues regarding money allotment, home equity, and student loans. I say the less money voted for, the better. I hope people of Texas and everywhere will understand the importance of voting on seemingly “unimportant” issues. Many citizens complain about different taxes and don’t understand how they came to be. If you vote against, they won’t implemented, but when you stay away from the polls and don’t vote for what you believe, your voice will be lost in the wind and all your complaining privileges will be done away with. Americans must complain with their vote! Not matter what you believe, everyone has a right to their opinions.
I personally believe in a small government, states rights, a secure border, and few taxes. You may not hold these beliefs….so tell the government! I’m voting to let my beliefs be heard, I think you should tell yours!
Sincerely,
The Democracy Lover
